My Valentine

Today is Valentine's Day.

My Valentine for the last 51 years has been William Paul Burleson. We started dating when I was 16 and we married when I was 17. From the day I met him and from that day forward Paul has been my Valentine, over half a century now. WOW!

Today I am more grateful than ever to have had this privilege of having this handsome feller, this fun-loving partner, and this ever-growing soul mate as my Valentine.

This week we lost a dear friend, much younger than we are, and we will attend his funeral tomorrow. Today is a time for reflection and for gratitude.
